NR 360 Lockdown - Humidity not going over 57

I put some wet paper towels near where the eggs sat( I made sure they weren’t touching) and the humidity rose to 64%.
Can you take a pic of what you did here? I’m having the same issue and I’m in lockdown period but humidity won’t rise above 58. Also will taking the top off to place a paper towel or sponge disrupt hatching at this point with the dramatic temp change for a brief period of time?

You realize that last post was March 19?

The brown in the middle are all of the eggs and the green outline is the paper towel I had under my eggs so when the chicks hatched their legs wouldnt get caught in the holes underneath. I ripped off some paper towel and then got small paper towels and ripped them up and soaked them in warm water and put them in the open spots that didn’t touch the dry paper towels or eggs. I did this to prevent the eggs from getting wet during hatch (which eventually happened anyway and increased humidity even though its not good to get the eggs wet). I refreshed the towels every 6 hours or when I noticed the humidity decreasing.

I opened my incubator a few times during lockdown and no chicks were shrink wrapped. I dont recommend opening it for too long though
I’m using the NR 360 so it might be different compared to your incubator.
Let me know if you have any other questions, I hope your hatch goes well!
