That's a lot of info in one post...lol. And some good reading.

Do you have a background in this? :)

No, but do research. Trying to save a panting (unknown reason) and probably in pain turkey hen, and I see on BYC that knowledge save lives, and sharing it will save many. Believe in the beauty of birds! Just do not know if she is injured or has heart issues or needs an antibiotic. Want so desperately to help her. Am hoping that others at BYC will help me save her. I didn't want to harm her when using a NSAID such as aspirin or banamine and also wanted to see what vets were using.

Perhaps people didn't realize that you had an ailing turkey. I'm not familiar enough with turkeys yet. I'm not sure offhand who might have turkeys. Perhaps I can alert a few people and hopefully they or some one else may come along with suggestions. @casportpony @Wyorp Rock and /or someone with turkey experience.

Here's a couple questions that may help people reading this:
How long has she been like this?
Has anything happen specifically where she could've been injured?
Is she eating and/or drinking?
What does her droppings (poop) look like?
What is the temperature/weather conditions where you live?

Hi @PureBigBird I'm sorry you're having trouble.

I don't know enough about turkeys to be able to help. I see that you have a couple of other threads where some knowledgeable folks are giving input. If you have an avian vet that may be your best option. Hopefully you can find the help you need.

I wish you well.
