We bought a new Nurture Right 360 and put eggs in it last night. The temp reads 99.5 consistently and the humidity has fluctuated from 47-55, current at 47 with vent only 1/4 open. I bought some cheap little digital hygrometers on Amazon, but I think they're way off since reading 96 and 37. I'm checking temp regularly with a human under the tongue thermometer and it's saying 99.2 average. I've looked at many others that have been suggested, but most are old and the links no longer work. Is there 1 good one that measure both accurately once calibrated, or a separate one for humidity that's accurate and would the human one be pretty accurate being human? I just don't want to kill them before they even get started.

I was going to suggest a human thermometer,,,,, until I see you did use one. That means the incubator one is quite close accurately.
BTW,, Your incubator is a well rated one. Many peeps like theirs.
As to the humidity,,, It is less important to be as accurate, as temperature. Another thing about humidity,,, many differed individuals go with different humidity percentages. Seems they all are hatching eggs successfully. :frow :love
For your peace of mind,, do check with the human thermometer as often as you see need.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:highfive:
