Nutri Drench for Molting

As a company we were wondering how many people supplement with Nutri Drench during molting season? Do you feel like it is a necessary thing for extra supplements during molting season? Just trying to get some feed back
Thank you
Julie
Welcome to BYC! I use it mainly for freshly hatched birds that are a little slow to get going, or for sick birds.

Question for you, can you tell us if it contains any thiamine and if it does, how much?

I've never used it on molting birds, mainly on newly hatched chicks, or vitamin supplementation for the sick birds around here. I'd also be interested in the thiamine (B1) content, to see if it could be used in conjunction with Amprolium without negating the effects of the drug. If it's not too much to ask either, I'd also be interested in the niacin content.

From what I've seen online and on the bottle of PND, it does contain B1 (Thiamine) but it does not contain B2 (Riboflavin)

Personally, I will use PND for chicks if I have it on hand, otherwise I use Poultry Cell (contains B2) for a quick pick me up for chicks and adults. I usually keep Poultry Cell all the time, I prefer to have 1 product instead of having to buy multiples.

IF I have a molting bird that seems to be struggling, then I may direct dose them for a couple of days with vitamins. I may give little extra protein, but my normal feed is usually 18% or higher protein to begin with.

Just my 2¢

I have used it when my birds are molting a couple times. Only once or twice a week though. It seems to help with the stress factor a lot.
I mainly use it in weak newly hatched chicks, which it's great for.
I'm interested in the Niacin/Thiamine answers too.

I have reached out to our manufacture on the Niacin and Thiamine questions. He has not responded yet. I know we have Niacin in the product just not sure of the percentages. I will reach out as soon as I hear from him.
Not trying to be rude, but you work for the company, their label is your avatar and you don't know if the product contains Thiamine?
Hint: The ingredients are listed on that label ;)
