I have a hen that at first was having a really hard molt, then it got real cold and I saw she wasn't eating. Now, since February 5, has been in my house barely doing anything. I do think she had an impacted crop, which seems better, but now it's not emptying!
I'm force feeding her a mixture of chicken starter, baby food, yogurt and Pedialyte. She has rooster booster in her water, changed daily.
Today I bought some nutri-drench and micronazole 3 but do I give her both together?
And no food? She's already about a 2 lb bird at the most.

If she has an impacted crop, DONT force feed her. You will be compounding a serious issue. Instead, withhold food and water for a 12 hour period of time (she won’t starve to death), and check the crop again. If it’s hard and squishy, it’s impacted. If it’s flat and empty, you’re fine and there’s a different issue. If you keep forcing food into the crop, it will pile up on top of each other and ferment which is SOUR CROP.
if the crop is impacted, you’ll need to start treating for that by NOT feeding anything at all except garlic water for a day or two and see where to go from there. But please please stop force feeding - it’s not helping.

It's not impacted now. It was hard but then I gave her a couple of mls of olive oil off and on thru the day about three days ago and crop massages.. Her poop was runny, then half normal, then almost normal and now hardly any, but runny again.
Her crop is just about as big as a downy dryer ball and squishy. Soft with a few gurgles in it so I think it's going sour. No smell yet but it was the same size to his morning as it was yesterday at bedtime.
I gave her 1 ml of nutri-drench about 4 pm, then 1 ml of miconazole an hour later.
I smashed up some egg to give her but not sure if I should be feeding her or not. She's next to nothing for weight!

If the crop is impacted, food will only make it worse. The food is not going down, so piling more on top will exacerbate the problem. The reason she’s so skinny is because the food isn’t going to the stomach to be digested. I would try some plain Greek yogurt to maybe try and restore the healthy bacteria needed to solve this issue.

I have been giving her a bit of greek yogurt mixed in with chick starter, beef baby food, pedialyte and some egg and a little squirt of olive oil to make it a nice consistancy. She was getting about 3 teaspoons a day or a little more.

That's why I bought the miconazole. Valley vet suggested I get some nutri-drench, everyone else suggested the miconazole. I thought I'd give her the nutrition first and then the yeast drug

How old is your hen and what breed is she?

I tried everything but she didn't make it. I'm tempted to have a look inside her but I don't know if I can do that and would I know if I saw anything wrong?
