Is there any data that points to chickens having different nutritional content i.e more or less fat/vitamins/dark meat etc? Do different chicken breeds have different tastes or makeup or is it down to what you feed em or free ranging? This is out of curiosity as I was looking into raising chicken for animal feed and chicken being the inherently bland meat that it is, I was wondering if nutrition is different, thanks in advance

There are many differences in their nutritional profiles, depending on breed type, age, diet fed, and body part. Looking at extremes, an old Leghorn hen or rooster will be different from an eight week old Cornishx meat bird!
There are charts available with profiles of lots of different meats, ask a board certified veterinary nutritionist, or a poultry science department.
