I have several bard rock. They were laying nice brown eggs. However, recently they have become almost white. It Is cold here and several have been molting. Is this the cause or are they missing...

This is the peafowl section of the site but this page should give you some clues on brown pigment loss... http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/vm047

A quick and dirty rule of thumb for cat food/poultry feed mix is 1 part by weight dry cat food to 2 parts by weight poultry feed, that will generally get you in the 22% protein level range...

I don't know how food is sold in Kuwait, but in the US poultry feed is sold in 40-50lb bags and cat food is sold in 18-24lb bags, generally... So in many cases it's as easy as mixing 1 bag of poultry feed to 1 bag of cat food to hit a decent protein level...

My peafowl feed bag is 44lbs, don't know much cat food, but i know there are many available here with different brands, i think i will look for a cat food bag about 20lbs to add it to my peafowl feed bag, thanks again.

Scrambled eggs will help boost their protein levels and it would be much better for the peas, i mean an egg is the perfect food.

Besides eggs not having some things required by the birds not in an egg, you need several eggs to be digested to replace what is in one egg produced You need to have flock of chickens that you are maintaining to produce the eggs to give to the peafowl. Not incredibly efficient but you are right, eggs are good food.
