I've been researching the omega 3 content in eggs, and several articles recommend getting your eggs tested to prove superior nutrition. I'd love to get my eggs tested (once they start laying), even just out of curiosity. However, where do you even get that done? The large scale food science companies do not really cater to small companies. Do any of you have an idea? I know that it might not be financially feasible to me right now, but it would be nice to know.

I suspect it will cost at least $100 dollars per sample and you will likely want 3 measures taken to ensure accuracy. Everytime diet is changed process will need to be repeated. A university lab might be able to help with small samples.

I've been wanting to get mine tested too. Were you able to get yours tested? If so where and how much? I've been on the phone the last hour to about 10 different people trying to find out. May have finally found someone. I'm waiting for a phone call back from them. Green Bay Wisconsin Lab of Food Safety Net Services, 888-525-9788. I tried the American Egg Board and local USDA and the local university. Maybe this lab will be able to help me.
