Ginny--if you remember correctly, I sold you some eprinex in january for your birds. I did the research and it pretty much takes care of everything inside and out and there is no egg withdrawel period. I still have some left and will be doing my own birds soon. Check your mail history on here and you will find the dosages I gave you for both bantams and large fowl. I will probably only do my layers and breeding silkies as all the others are still juveniles yet. Its about that time. Let me know how you make out.
So in anticipation of having my gallbladder out, I industriously did a full cleanout and reset of the silkie coops this morning. Washed, scrubbed, de, litter, washed bowls and waterers and swept walls. I let them freerange all morning long before locking them back in their coop/run. I then washed waterers and feeders and filled them, swept walls, de everything and freshened up the big coops with some fresh litter. I let the girls out to range all afternoon. Trouble will undoubtedly go looking for Little Man and his hens to pick a fight but they are safely locked away. Needless to say, my side and back are now killing me (mad gallbladder) but I feel better knowing that all anyone has to do is feed and water the cheeps for me.
It was very pleasant in the shade this morning and I even took time out to bring the lone silkie chick out to sit with me for a bit. Of course the terrorists were looking at it like it was a snack and were hoping I would give it to them. The baby was happy running around on me and managed to get a nap in. I am now going to sit and enjoy my fan and a little reading.
Can someone please post the Eprinex dosage info here? Does TSC sell it? Is it the same as Ivermectin?
