Got lots of rain today. Had to pump out the backyard. Not fun. Cheeps spent the day in their coops, Guess they didnt like the rain either. Hoping it is sunny this weekend so things dry out.

Wow what a gorgeous day today!!! Glad I am not working for once when it's nice out. Just dropped off 15 dozen eggs at the schuylerville auction just to see what they get - a person from work said he was getting $2.50 a dozen there so worth a shot. Even if they sell for pennies, better than what I was getting before and now I have room in the fridge.

I risked it and let most of my birds out today in their electric fencing. Hope the hawks don't realize the buffet is out again!

Love the cute chick pics!! my two chicks that I have left after my ill-fated hatch are doing great and were running around like happy little two weekers today. Odd that those two had no illness at all, but the ones that were rehomed immediately fell ill. Rival cocci bugs, I guess. =(

thank you. This is a picture of some of them. The chickens and ducks make my day, everyday. Watching them has a calming effect on me.
