Tab's chicken obsession :

We lost our old beagle this morning. Found a pee mess after everyone had been out once so I was making all the dogs go out again. The others went right out. I looked into our game room and he was laying in a ray of sunshine. He looked like he was comfy basking in the sun. I didn't have my glasses on so I called to him "Come on Obie let's go out again". He didn't move I squinted and saw no breathing. He was gone.

He had been dropping weight and looking bad. We knew it was coming, but it still hurts. He was a good old boy and I'll miss him.

We are so sorry! Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys! Are the girls ok!? Bless his little heart! Just think he is young and free!

I won an auction for Coronation & split sussex eggs from Rockinpaints today!

Yeah, I'm expanding my breeds..

For those that haven't heard, the Marans were approved yesterday. So now it goes to the standards committee for final approval, but that is usually a formality.

So, now we can officially show our Marans & compete for Best in Show! Well, probably not until June or so, but soon!
