that is how I enjoyed this perfect summer day. Finished siding and stained the Vardo. My wife helped stain as well. 12 hour day on it today counting chasing down materials

My daughter brought over her boyfriends unused ac today for me. House is finally down below 88 degrees. This heat has been making me physically ill all week and work was no picnic either. The cheeps are holding out well. It kills me to be out hauling water and food but I do it for them and check them over good. I had to throw the broodies out of their boxes otherwise I would have roast chicken for dinner. One of the young barred rock hens was deep in conversation with a whitetail doe in my front yard. Beak on nose they were. I think they were conversing over feed and how she (the deer) could score some from the terrorists. I will have to watch that coup closely for unauthorized use of feed.

I envy you chris and lynzi, in that nice cold creek on such a hot day.

Supposed to rain tomorrow. I hope so if it breaks the heat.

Wind and rain came up fast, I went out and locked up the coop so that if the roof comes off the run the girls won't get out (and that evil dog won't get in!)

The power just went out here. Circuit breaker for the living room popped. I thought something was up when the garage lights got bright and then BAM everything went dark.

haven't started the inside yet. This weekend I need to run the wires for the taillights then I can panel the inside and build the bed frame. For the time being that is all the inside gets. It basically is a bedroom on wheels. My hope is to have it campable by thursday the 25th and be sitting beside a camp fire at Lake Moreau this time of night on that date.

Why is it that the ducks always have to give me hard time getting into their coop before a big storm!?!?! Ugh! They're still out there!
