NY chicken lover!!!!

Do you have a moist heating pad ?
or you can microwave a wet towel ... to lay on...be careful ...not very long ..
How about a nice soaking bath ?

I don't, which is why he just picked up these on his way home from work. The shower this morning helped A LOT! I've been taking Aleve too. I just don't want to take too much of it because it IS a long lasting pain reliever, where as others are "take two every 4 hrs or so" Aleve is suppose to last 12 hrs. I'm just hoping it's not worse tomorrow and Sunday! I'm supposed to head to CT on Sunday.

Ok so wife gets home off work at 930 we go to cash check from my mom to buy a pellet stove at 1030. No one has pellet stoves in stock except lowes who has like 3 or 4 and that's it. So our last check is home depot and we ask them like we did at tsc and lowes if they know where a pellet stove dealership is. They pointed us in the right direction and since we didn't know area used the gps to find the school its by. We walk into the store and start talking to the guy he's telling us that they are on sale at other places and showing us what he can order cause he don't have anything in stock. We have 2k to work with so he suggest to try tsc they have them for 700 on clearance. We told him sold out. He's calling around another store or two or his dealers I don't know. We don't like what he could find and was about to max us out. We get talking about being on the weatherization program for 6 years and the only answer we get on when we will get it is that we are on the list. He's upset and dumbfounded on how we are on there so long. His company contracted with them and it use to be only a year wait normally. So he tells us he got a letter yesterday about renewing with them to be able to place bids but he threw the paper away. He goes to his office and digs the paper out of trash and starts calling around and gets us in contact with a higher up person who says they will help with a different program ran through the state. This gentleman ends up doing something I would never think of a store doing. First he knocks $600.00 off a pellet stove we like and we tell him we will have to think about it and try to come up with more money that we borrowed the 2k we had. He then tells us just pay him as we get the money. He throws in free pipe for the exhaust, used but still good. Sells the pellets at his cost for this year only. This is done with no back ground check no credit check or anything we could take this thing and run. We gave him our address but he has no idea if it's real or not. Talk about trusting and caring person. I mean we talked about the pipes in my house and the space heaters and such with him also and we talked to him for a bit found out he's a fellow veteran along with his son. He don't make people pay for full amount when they buy stuff. Showed us a receipt where one person paid full 214 for the ton another person paid 89 cause its what they had at the time. I know home depot wouldn't do that or walmart or any other stores. He also told us to save 500 and install it our selves that it wasn't hard instead of trying to sell us an install also. I mean yeah he's most likely still making money on this but not many would cut they're easy funds off an install job or take money off the price when already willing to let people pay at will.

This guy was very nice and helpful and caring he was breaking down cause he was upset that veterans are on the list for 6 years. My wife felt like hugging him cause it was sad to see him so upset. It would take a few pages to write what all happened in the store so summing it up with just this post. Needless to say we are not buying pellets from any where else even if they are cheaper else where. I'm sure some of the older folks might be use to mom and pops stores doing this type of stuff and working with you but this day in age its far and few between it happens. This was a first for us and we are thankful for all his help.
I have a feeling this guy would do this for anyone not just veterans he just seems that type of person and I'm ashamed to admit but if I was him I don't think I would have done half the stuff he did to help us out both with stove and with the weatherization program. Time to improve my self besides the not drinking and think more of others.
Ok now my second thing I got lucky with is I get home off work and I'm sitting watching tv. I decide to check bator and see it's not on!!! It's not pluged into the extension cord my sons tablet charger is. So I plug it in and its still not on. The extension cord aint plugged into the wall!! I plug it in I check the temp in bator and it's 66 in there. Well I just candled alittle bit ago and lucked out they was all moving still.

Try to find a good chiropractor, mine is in Cortland. It may be muscles or you may have thrown something out. I usually need a once or twice yearly tune up. He recommended Aleve and Tylenol staggered, no more than 2 Aleve per day, when the pain was real bad. Don't do this for too long though, can cause stomach bleeding. And moist heat.
Look at getting a snowblower attachment for your lawn mower, then it can throw the snow out of the way farther rather than just push it to the side. Especially when we have this much snow.
