Thank you so much!!! They've got DuMor chick starter and lots of fresh water. I will make them some eggs right now and get them some greens later on.
I appreciate all of your information. Thank you!!

Morning all. Another beautiful day today. Going to be warm though. Have to make a run to the feed store. Might pick up a few more plants for the garden. Going to get some wood ash from the fire dh had the other night and throw that into the craters the terrorists have dug in their run for dustbathing. Should help eliminate those mites. Knee is cranky this morning so we might be getting rain.

Garden & Poultry Dust Shaker Can, 2 lb this is the dust that I use on my cheeps for mites. Works well. I also sprinkle it in the coop and nest boxes and their favorite dusting places. You can get it at tractor supply or have your feed store order it.

Nice save on the ducklings. I hope you find a good home for them.

Enjoy the day everyone!

Anybody else watching Horders? Woman hording eggs and chickens in her house-)
This is my fear. Which is why I give chicks and chickens away.

I once gave away, 3 hatchery SLW's, GLW's and Aussies cuz they were being picked on and I couldn't stand to look at their bald backs. I love animals but not to their hurt or injury.

I don't have cable but I think that show would scare the you know what out of me and I'd be giving stuff away and cleaning til Christmas. The less junk I have the easier it is to keep things clean.

I'm right here :) sent you a pm.
How is everyone? I can't believe we finally got rain last night here then it only lasted 20 min! We need more, that was the first rain in a month!
Lynzi, I heard the too that I got from you crow this morning, it was adorable lol. He is fitting in nicely with my silkies. (no I don't believe in quarantine)
The mean roo from Rancher didn't waste anytime trying to breed everything in sight lol. He hasn't come after me yet so I hope it stays that way!

Glad he's fitting in nicely!! When he first started crowing a couple of weeks ago he would "hiccup" after. It was funny. Gotta love when they first start crowing, it sounds like such a struggle for them lol

Anyone near Binghampton with silkies in white, buff or splash available? I have an inquiry from someone out that way looking for 3-10 week olds. She wants pullets. I told her they are very difficult to sex until they crow or lay an egg. Let me know if you are out there and can help her out. I will pass on the info to her or you can pm her at [email protected]. Getting hot and humid here. We need rain.

Good morning all.

Well we moved the ducks to the big coop and I'm using the small coop as a sexlink ee/oe pen now since it has a run on it. It was not fun chasing ducks through the dark. Those brown buggers are a pain to catch even with the net. With the net I was worried about heads getting stuck in the netting. I hope they know where to go to tonight.

With my main rooster in the small coop/run, his son seems to be manning up a little bit.
