I got shipped eggs from Washington today. They shipped out Wednesday and were here at my door by 11:00. This is going to be my first time hatching, so wish me luck.
Good luck! Shipped eggs can be tough. Lots of potential tho!! Welcome to the thread!

Hello everyone, I am located in the Western Finger Lakes region, south of Rochester. We've had chickens for about 4 years but lost most of our flock to a fox recently.
We are planning to hatch our own for the first time, picking up some eggs April 25. We could use about a dozen more eggs to fill out the 'bator. Do any of you know of hatching eggs available in the Buffalo/Rochester/Finger Lakes area? We really don't want to keep cockerels so I'm preferring autosexing breeds, but may bend if I don't find any.
I've been lurking on these forums for a few years and have learned so much about chickens from you all. Thanks for any help you can give!

. Guess that's one of the hazards of owning an incubator. You are supposed to let them set how long ...before you incubate them ?

Oh and I forgot to mention that TSC had the cutest bantam's and barred rock chicks.... So I bought 6 more lol. This brings my chick total to 20. Plus four ducklings. And 6 goose eggs and 6 lavender orphington eggs. Hope the chicken coop my husband is building will be big enough. haha. I feel like a crazy chicken hoarder or something.
