I Will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever own another leghorn chicken. If you want white eggs there are other varieties with better temperaments.

I personally loved my Leghorns

Mainly ducks and hens anything free also have homes for roosters but have to try keep it local I don't have reliable transportation

Egg layers and something to hatch from lapeerian gave me a nice partridge rock too and a comet hen I'm looking for more hens to add to him

it looked to me like a puff faced water snake...we have the seneca river behind us ..
well it surprised me anyway ...I didnt scream...snakes usually dont move fast enough to startle me ...
I have only seen one snake total in a couple of years
Before chickens... snakes were in the garden everywhere ..mostly garter snakes...no bugs to eat ..no doubt

Oh not that would have been getting stomped to death I hate snakes
