Your dilly bean collection looks like my tomato collection. I didn't get enough beans this year. I did get about 100 pounds of zucchini though so we have dilly zucchini and zucchini relish and frozen zucchini for bread. I love the freshness but all the work stinks.

Ha Ha I didnt get enough zucchini ..Squash bugs got it ... my chickens dont like squash bugs or slugs

I hear the marsh daisy rooster crowing but I know they girls aren't ready to lay yet. The CR's take a bit longer to mature. Even the roosters. Dels are quicker.

Does anyone have virus software on their Tablets? If so what?

I have it on this computer but not on my tablet. Yet!

How do you make dilli zucchini? I would love to try that.Does it work with "the huge zucchini's you forgot until they became clubs" too????

it works best with the monster zucchini. The ball canning website or the book both have lots of neat recipe but you can also just use a pickles recipe of any sort and adjust the processing time. It makes great relish too. The bread is a lot like banana bread and oh so yummy. If you want a spacific recipe let me know I might have it. My kitchen is my favorite place to be.

Okay- I have some clubs I picked in the lost garden the other day and I was wondering what to do with them. I will make them into dillizuck's.
Headed to the Ball website now!

Hi ladies,

It was a cold and wet one yesterday but we managed to get the frame up for the run. 6 by 8ft. We still need the braces and then we'll add the fencing. We're trying to figure out what to do for the roof. It's going to be covered with corrugated plastic but the way the roof is on the actual shed coop what concerns me is when water goes down it, it will seem into the side where the run is and eventual cause rotting on the wood quicker. I don't know, maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill at the moment. lol For this being the first time we've ever done anything like this let alone building a frame, I think it looks pretty good so far if I do say so myself. lol

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Looks great! I have a similar setup with a big shed attached to the runs. Inside its divided up so that I can separate the breeders. It's wonderful especially in the winter to be able to feed and water the birds from under a roof. U will figure out the details and make adjustments as you go forward. Nice job!

I'm selling out all my geese  ducks.

Sebastapol geese, grey sb goose, blue gander, Lav/splash gander, 2 goslings, unsexed. One all darkgrey I think is a girl. The other is splash/lavender.

A trio of Pekinnducks, hatched last spring.

PM me for prices.

Hello marquisella, how are you? Haven't seen you on here in a while. Hope you are doing well. Are you still working with Brabanters?
