I buy Agway feeds too and nothing has changed with the feed so far....But the Cracked corn did changed to Country Feeds. I asked about it when I got the first bag and they told me that they just changed the label of the corn, but it was still from Agway.Does anyone know about Agway and Country feeds ( Is it countryside) feeds?
My last bags of Egg producer were Agway but the two I bought today are Country feeds.
I liked the Agway.
You might try clipping both wings. If that doesn't work tie a bowling ball to her leg.Hi everyone. We are bracing for a snow storm with high winds down here. Snow is starting tonight and should be done sometime Sunday. The lines at gas stations and supermarkets are terribly long today. People wait for the last possible moment. So I went and bought two red star pullets from a guy on Craigslist with a farm in westchester. A bit of a drive, but not too far. They were twenty dollars each. One has laid an egg for the last two mornings. I brought them home Wednesday. One of them is determined to give me heart failure. She flew over the back fence into the neighbors yard the first afternoon. But she came back by herself shortly after. So I clipped one wing yesterday morning. Today when I went to give them dinner, one was missing. Probably the same one. I got the ladder and looked over the back fence, and there she was again, scratching in the flowerbed. I went around to their house a few times and rang the bell, just like Wednesday, and again nobody answered. So I spent a while standing on the ladder like a peeping tom looking over the fence. As it got dark, she started trying to get back over, but because of the clipped wing, couldn't manage. I stood on the fence and lowered the ladder into their yard thinking she might decide to climb up it, but no such luck. So it brought the ladder back over. After trying their doorbell one more time, I decided I would tresspass. So I lowered the ladder again into their yard and climbed over. She was settled down in a corner right by the fence. So I just grabbed her and hightailed it back up the ladder, holding her with one hand. I set her down on top of the cinder block wall on my side while I hauled over the ladder again, and she just sat there, even with the ladder clanking next to her. When I put her on the roost in the shed next to her friend and chick, she looked around like she couldn't believe her beady eyes. I felt so juvenile, climbing over that fence. I don't know what would have happened if I got caught. They're the only neighbors that adjoin our yard that I've never seen or spoken to. I hear them in their yard, but that's it, because the fence is really high. The neighbors on either side have high walls too, but I see them in front when we're outside on the sidewalk, exiting or entering our yards.
yes!!! The comb on that WL is like the one on several of my reds.. Other than that they look exactly like my other reds.
