DobieLover, yes when I posted it I was only aware of it being Monroe County and it wasn't reported exactly where , then it became apparent that it was only about 55 miles from me and I am also only 4 miles south of Lake Ontario I was just surprised that it made the leap from downstate with nothing reported in between first.
Yes you are right about the wildfowl concentration, we have many geese fly over this area, I put my girls on lockdown when that case appeared, it definitely has me worried and very thankful I have a huge coop.
Like Poultrybonkers, I also just saw the new case in Orleans county which is even closer, again no idea where in that county yet.

It's occurring most frequently along the flyways and where the wild waterfowl congregate.

How old do you want them to be? I have a few extra chicks hatching, in June, & would be willing to grow them out to 5-6 weeks for you so they didn’t need heat. I’m about 2 hours from Catskills & could meet you part way..

Hello everyone. I am able to add 2 French Black Copper Marans and 2 Salmon Faverolles pullet chicks to a shared order from a NYS hatchery an hour from me. Only problem is, I only want one of each & have limited room but the other person doesn’t want any feather footed breeds. Would anyone want the other of the two pairs? They are about $8 each, and I would take care of them until we were able to meet and exchange, only asking you to pay for the actual chick & would show invoice for proof of price. I could possibly add a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte or Lavender Orpington as well if you wanted more than 2. Please PM me with any questions if you are interested!

Yes. Ordered from them last year. They had a problem from what I understand and changed ownership, but someone bought out the old web address and was selling chicks using the previous name and it turned into a hot mess.

Current owner is sweet and extremely helpful. Very busy with a day business so sometimes I have to text again a few days later if I don’t hear back right away, but if you can deal with not having access to communicating at the drop of a hat, he is awesome.

I personally never bought from them id rather not pay more for birds due to shipping that my local feed stores will carry eventually lol which it was silkies and I got them so dont need any others right now
