Gramma, You can have the 5-6 Sumantras I have hatched. There is a second hatch coming this week. IF I get anything other than Sumantras from the second hatch I'll split "your order" so you don't have all the same kind of eggs in your basket.

My neighbor gets her yellow chicks right off the top, decreasing my yield. Then my brother wants some and my brother in law has expressed an interest but not committed. If I haven't run out of chicks Beth is next on the list (I didn't hatch the breed she wants, so she might back out on me like many people do...and that's the reason I don't "save chicks" for ANYONE)

Of course I can always hatch more. I still have 2 broodies down there just chomping at the bit for me to give them eggs. LOL

It all depends on your land too ..If I Remember right Rancher is sort of on wetlands ...I remember a winter ? Spring pond in his yard ..LOL

acres upon acres of wetland here. Hence my mink and weasel killing duties

I think that little roo is going to be a beauty!! Just wondering, now that hatch rates are rising, would you likea pullet later in he year for him. I'll give her to you just because I think he is so cool!!
