Why not just hollow out the ground and put the pool in that? Or line the hole with pool liner? What is it you're trying to accomplish? Is there a way to connect the hose to a rain barrel or barrels? Situated up higher gravity would allow the rain water to flow into the pool/pond.Here are some pics. The hose isn't "locked" into holes in the pool yet. Just tested this last night to see if it would even work...
The small amount of water that runs down the side of the mountain/yard:
How I got the hose to stay:
Into the pool:
For such a small trickle of water it sure does fill up fast! This is the second fill from today after I emptied it out once to move the pool.
You can see the hose in the background of this one. The water will empty out thru that and back into the woods.
My next step is getting this darn pool level! Right now it's on a huge board that was already in the woods. I dragged it out last summer and placed it in front of the stream so my son could stand on it while he's hunting for critters. I have three big rocks under the right hand side of it but it still needs to be propped up more. I'll probably get some bricks or cylinder blocks from lowes because as you can see it's still not level.
