Omg I'm so sorry I'm always so behind on post the severe storm didn't seem bad to me but I was busy with homework. Power at work went out that sucked but otherwise no effect on my neighborhood. Dogs and chickens a ok.

Been enjoying the hot weather. Went for a run and saw a sign for a heat emergency I was like oops I better hurry up and go home.

thought about ding that myself tonight, but never did. Personally I enjoyed yesterdays 96 and humid as much as tonights cooler temps. Heat does not bother me or really slow me down much. Beats being cold any day .

A couple years ago, I had the grand ambition to do a rather large 100' x 100' garden with asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, etc. Tomatoes got the blight that we had that one year, peppers didn't do well, so I kind of gave up and we let it get taken over by weeds. It's waaaay on the other side of our property so I rarely go over there. Tonight...

Me: The chickens LOVE to get out and get the couple blackberries behind the coop.
Dh: That's nothing. There's a whole bunch in your old garden. They've kind of taken over.
Me: And you waited until NOW to tell me this???

If I hack down the weeds that are literally 6 feet tall we will have more blackberries than I'll know what to do with!

It's the opposite here. My wife and I love to snowmobile and don't mind the cold. I can always put more clothes on, but I can only take so much off before getting in trouble Chris

While I love the seasons I agree with Stony. Give me 90 degree days any day. I am always cold if it under 70........I where a sweatshirt & have a small heater in at work since they keep the a/c at deep freeze. I am much happier with the heat & being outside
