NY chicken lover!!!!

So for those who remember my little lawn mower dilemma...I got home from CT yesterday early enough to get unpacked, start some laundry, etc. I went outside and decided to try to get this cover untangled from the blade of the mower. Well can you believe I actually I did it!!!

I pulled and ripped and cut that cover out of there like a champ! Well...I kept the mower in the same place, didn't move it. I also didn't tell DH I fixed it. I thought he would have fixed it while I was gone but he didn't. So tonight we were talking about how I want the the trailer/cart attachment for it and he wants to get the plow for it. (we're trying to decide if its worth it to get the plow attachment for it or just get a snow blower) He says "I still have to get that cover untangled from it, can't wait to do that on that my next day off!" I just nodded and said and Oh yea...thats gonna be a b****. LOL Can't wait for him to attempt it and say Ummmm there's nothing under there....

Ohh noo...That's John Stage, the owner. My husband is Managing Partner, the GM at Syracuse.

Edited: Just went thru all the pictures and he IS pictured in one of the 19 photos! LOL He never knows when his picture is going to get published. Or when they'll be asking to do another video segment on some news channel...

Congrat's on the new dog, and I hope he is a good fit into your family. Tell Little Girl to be very patient and give him lots of space right now. Especially when food or toys are his focus.

Thanks. He really is a good dog, just full of young energy and extreme happiness to have a family. Little girl is the one that tends to get him hyped up when playing. He has shown no food or toy aggression, but he gets bouncy and pounces on toys. Little girl has been pounced a couple times when she grabs the toy to toss. She is just as difficult to train (3 years old), our money is actually on training the dog easier.

The cats are starting to come out of hiding.
Was able to get him into the vet yesterday for a full physical. Healthy 38 pounds. Has hookworms, but no heartworms so will be starting on preventative. Also tested positive for Lyme, so pricing around for the doxycycline. Checked online at some of the pet med places, but a few are on backorder. Will be checking the human pharmacies for their price and availalility.

No way am I reading 1300 posts tonight - it's been a while since I logged in! At any rate, the Saratoga Springs CVS had a flock of about fifty ducks waddle in, apparently to take advantage of our great buys or sign up for Double Extrabucks or something. I have just been transferred to that very store - I'm taking one of the overnight spots. Obviously this is my welcoming committee - they know that the Duck Lady is coming.
