NY chicken lover!!!!

Anyone need one of these? I emailed them cause its only a little more than the brinsea 20 advance I plan on getting. But do I really need something that big to hatch a couple dozen eggs? I plan on someday getting big into jersey giant capons but it might never happen.

NatureForm fully automatic commercial incubator. Game bird egg inserts. New motor. Used motor backup. New Hi/ Low temperature contacts. Metro-rack included.

If this was around when the family was getting me my Brinsea I totally would have had them get it instead! So much room.....
Do you raise Jersey Giants now? There is a guy by me who wants to buy some...

I actually just shipped Sizzle eggs to TX, 6 of them. She said only 1 had a detached air cell and out of the six eggs, 5 developed (one of which was 13 days old but I sent her anyway and told her to try anyway, it actually developed!) I believe the one that did not develop was the one with the detached air cell. I just had a dozen eggs shipped to me last month and I loved the way they came packaged, they were perfect. So I used the same method when shipping these down to TX.
I totally think it's one of the sorting stations between NY and South Carolina. I haven't had any problems with shipped eggs from anywhere else in the country! Aside from quail, which I bred in house, last year all my incubator runs were shipped eggs, and I had it running non stop from March through September! I lost a whole batch of melanastic pheasants from N. Carolina, but had a 90% hatch rate from pheasants that came from halfway across the country! These eggs were packed with a ton of padding and multiple layers, so they really had to have taken quite a hit to cause that level of disruption! I'm leaving the last egg in my manual turn incubator in the hopes that it might have survived. The ring of death isn't obvious yet, but it's not looking promising... I have chicken eggs due in tomorrow that are headed up from close to Philadelphia. I'm not worried about those - they will have spent less than 48 hours in transit from a route that has always yielded healthy eggs!

I don't have the Giants yet, I wanted white ones and had a hard time finding any, most hatcheries don't have them, figured I'd be better off with breeder quality. Check BYC asked, pm'd the ones that had them, none have been active on BYC for a few years no one returned pm's. Couldn't find any breeders I thought I checked the Jersey Giant Club and didn't see anyone that had white, now I see there is one in PA. So I ordered ten from SandHill Preservation Center, the max on whites. Hopefully their stock is good. Also ordered ten Black Langshans and five (the max) Blue Langshans to meet their minimum order. They said I'm down for May 5 hatch date so it looks like I'm getting them. Had to call them I got worried, I put down no substitutions and I saw the Blue Langshan was now unavailable for 2015 on their website and it was the giants I wanted, they don't ship if you don't meet the min order. They said I was good, getting them all! If their Giants turn out good I'd like to be a breeder of them, nobody seems to care about the White Giants.

I can see the white giants making a nice bird for caponizing! I hope you get some really nice stock and keep the color going!!!
