oh no! You've worked hard on your flock. I hope for the best!I haven't been around much in the past few days because it's been a little hectic here. My family bought a house in town across the VT border so I'll be moving. If the house had had at least an acre of land I could have taken 25 birds with me. Sadly, it's only on a quarter acre so no poultry allowed. So now I have to figure out what to do. My grandmother, who lives five minutes down the road from the house we bought is allowed to have anything she wants, and I'm hoping she'll allow me to keep my birds there. If not, I'll be making a big move - me and all my birds will be going to live with Metella. Still trying to get everything figured out so we'll see what happens. I know that one way or another I won't be giving up my birds.
In other news some of my birds are missing. Mostly roosters - my NN rooster Bowtie has vanished along with my NN frizzle OE pullet. My cochin cockerel, who was shaping up to be gorgeous, is also gone. I'm not sure if something got them or they wandered off and died in the cold, but there is no sign of them.
