What is it with Silkies!?!? Those horrible things are creepy looking!! So why do I want some so bad!?!? You Silkie pushers are mean and awful..

I guess I'm getting some come spring so I get over it, I hope.

O come on silkies are awesome, I love mine. If you are close to buffalo ny I can give u a rooster I've got to many Roos and want to get down to 1 roo so any buddy in my area if u want a buff or a white silkie rooster pm me lol I just want them to go to a good home

No eggs in a couple months from eight hens. One egg most days from coup #2 five pullets. 2-3 nice clean warm eggs a day from coup #3 with three pullets, silkie/giant cross has been perpetually broody and keeps the eggs warmed up till I get them

Those funny looking buggers are on my spring shopping list as well. I would really like to get them local though, not mail order.

That's why I don't have any yet. I can't find any good quality SGs locally. I really don't want to spend a ton of money on eggs to ship and have them scrambled. I do have a gen 1 that I hatched last year from my nn and the pet quality silkies I had. I could breed her back to my bearded that I now have, but I'm afraid of cooping her with them cause I'm afraid she will hurt my silkies. Plus, I'd really like to buy into an already established line

Eventually I'd like to have a buff or 2 and a couple splashes, hens of course...lol I didn't care for the buffs at first, but the color has kind of grown on me.

I'm several hours away and past my max on boys. If I was to take him sadly he'd be soup.

Showgirls are not for me but I can come up with some neat crosses with a few NN and a few silkies.

I've always figured they must use bantam NN to make those Showgirls? And once you get them they breed true right?
