My chicken yard is an utter mess of mud mixed with poo. I’m slipping around even in my sloggers. Fingers crossed the rain let’s up soon.

I checked our forecast. After ANOTHER day of rain today, there is only 4 rainy days in the next 10...I hope the forecast holds!

No. So many people contact me then just stop talking to me when they find out where I am. Like a 30 minute drive, Schoharie county, is so far away. I wish I could keep him. He’s such a sweetie and so beautiful. I have two girls that look like him too. But I have too many boys and too much crap going on with the village.

I wish I had older chickens, I’d take your roo. But our coop still needs a roosting bar & predator proofing before I can even put the babies in. I’m sorry.

I appreciate that actually. Most people I’ve talked to find out he’s a bantam and no longer want him.
I have a farm that I give my roosters to but I hate giving them the bantams. They breed some silkies but I always feel bad asking them to take my extra roosters. I still have a few silkies I’m waiting to find out the gender of. If I end up with more roosters and no one takes this guy then he’s going to the farm. Hopefully someone will want him.

I am looking for a home for my 2 Seramas,I am in upstate n.y. near Plattsburgh. I love them dearly, they are a bonded pair,, it breaks my heart to rehome them , but health has me make this heartbreaking decision. They like to be held and petted , they are splash, and came from Jerry in Lousiana. Only experienced serama people please, They stay in my basement for the winter in 70% temperatures. They are about 2 years old. I love them so much , please someone give them a great home they are spoiled.
