Hey everyone! Glad everyone made it out of the storm ok! I am an hour south of Rochester and I have a foot and a half at my pace but it is quickly melting, snow is falling off the trees in big fat clumps! We didn't lose our power (thank god) but if we had we would have been ok with our trusty woodstove. My DH and I took the dogs snowshoing on our land sat. and it was SOOOOO pretty!
I don't have an incubator but reading all of your posts makes me want one! I don't even need anymore chickens and your pics make me want some! I have a few hens that are broodies so I am trying my best not to purchase any chicks this year, there is a feed store outside of Retsof (Geneseo) NY that will be ordering chicks from a hatchery soon, they will let you order just a few and there are some breeds I would like to add to my flock, we will see...........
Machias--let me know if you want some eggs next month, or if you have enough eggs hatching right now that's fine. It's scary to think in a little over a month all this snow will (hopefully) be gone! I think I need to come down your way sat. for feed so then I'll be back that way in 6 weeks or so again.
