Fantastic job!!!! Congrats are definitely in order!!!! Those chicks are way too cute........chick pix always bring a smile to my face!!! Hopefully soon you'll have 4 more!!! Never give up on them too soon......look what just happened to me.
AmyJ, thanks so much for the well wishes!!! Next week you should have 4 new babies of your own ........people always tell me you can't beat a broody for hatching eggs.....I wouldn't know.....none of mine have gone broody yet. It'd be helpful..... both of my bators are currently pretty full(smile).
Jen, glad to hear your 2 little ones are doing fine!!! Hopefully the one with the "blister" will be fine.....it's probably nothing serious. Due to the outage I'm also behind on a lot of chores........supposed to stay warmer(thank goodness.......it reminds me that Spring is right around the corner).

Oh BTW, There will be a Poultry/horse swap and sale on April 11, 2010 (This can also include goats, rabbits anything farm related)

Minutes from Kingston, New Paltz, the Rhinecliff Bridge, and the Thruway exit.

I would also like to incorporate this with the Hudson Valley Horse Lovers, and make where everyone can sell all farm, garden, poulty, horse, sheep, goats, ect... relatated items. You can bring everything, I would just ask that if you wanted to sell equipment or horses, and you just bring picutres of them and info.

There is a $5.00 charge for an outside booth, and a $10.00 charge for an inside booth. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO HOLD A SPOT.

This will be a great day for everyone. I also held one last year just for the horses, and I did a big consignment booth that went great. This is where if you couldn't make it that day I can sell your items for you, and there is only a 10% charge. I can also do this again this year.

I have a 100' x 252' indoor arena.

Oh no Joanne! Hope you get it fixed quickly. Maybe something happened to it from the power going out? We had a lot of brown outs and flickering before ours went totally out.

love this breed, sweet, soft... I will in time continue to have more... I have a small flock of two boys
& their girls...they are still young now... so I have decided to let the trio go & keep the lil ones
