I love that you make soap! I want to learn how. I have Wheaten Marans eggs from Cree Farms and bargain (Garry Farm) coming this week. If the hatch goes well, I'll have a few extra to sell.

We can always trade soap . I had a booth at the Salmon Run Mall for the last 2 months selling my soap and lotions , I mean 100's upon 100's of items .......... It is actually how I make a living right now . We will be a state liscensed Creamery come this June also . We will produce goat and cow cheeses .

For the love of Pete...I want to learn. I will be getting some small goats this spring (likely Pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf)...I want to make soaps and cheeses...and live off the fat of the land. I saw you have Jersey Cows, too. That's my favorite cow for sheer looks! They are beauties.

I still need a bigger farm, though.

Please tell me you are going to Hinkjc's farm for Orpingtons???!!! I want a few more of their Lav Orps. I have eggs coming in this week, and am biting my nails waiting for another auction to end. They are in PA. I have a breeding pair of their gorgeous White Orps and the girl is a laying machine!

All right I will but I didn't want to buy eggs when I could get chicks. I have not heard back from Trylin as we have not decided who will make the drive. I am waiting for some advice from my friends on whether this would be a good idea. To offer to transport for other NYers. She and I have placed our order and I'm waiting for finalization from Jody.
Please understand.

1. All chicks must be picked here.

2. We can not transport past E. Syracuse.

3. All chicks ordered from hinkjc would have to be paid for in full to her.

4. We will not carry money to pay for others order or balance.

5. All chicks brought back would have to be picked up on the day of pick up.

6. We can/will not hold chicks for pick up.

7. All requests for transport must be made by e-mail to myself. (these will be printed out as proof of your request or cancelation)

8. All monetary transactions must be made directly with hinkjc, not us.

9. We will only pick up chicks for those who request it directly from us by e-mail. We will not pick up chicks ordered from hinkjc and requested of hinkjc to send them back with us.

10. Requests made privately of myself or Trylin is between you and us and does not liable the either of us to the other person. (no "well rancher said or trylin said" that's between you and me or her).

This is a 3.5 hour drive. Trish and I will discuss who will bear the loss of any chicks that are DOA.

11. hinkjc will not be liable to you for any chicks once they leave her farm to you or us.

Not that I anticipate any but I'm just trying to cover all my bases.

Whatta ya think?

I think you guys are awesome! Hinkjc has beautiful birds. I'm going to try to get some orp. eggs from someone I was told about in NY to start the last weekend of this month. If I don't have any luck I'll be in touch.

Ok, It Looks Like Trylin Is Good With It And You Can Order If You Want Just Be Sure To Let Me Know By E-mail If Your Going To. I'll Be Sending A Deposit And It Will Depend On Hinkjc When The Order Will Be Ready. The Sooner We All Get Our Deposits In When We Order The Sooner She Will Set Eggs To Hatch.

Just Contact Me To Let Me Know Your Going To Order And Then You Can Contact Hinkjc To Order. I Expect The Sooner She Knows The Sooner She'll Be Able To.

I'll Be Sending My Deposit This Week. You Can View What She's Got At The Sale Posting, She Does Have Black And White And Buff As Well As Lavender.

We May Get These As Early A April Or May. Get Your Coops Ready.

After some discussion and genetics calculator research and more discussion, it turns out I would like blue orpingtons instead of the lavender for what I want to try. Bummer that the connection I had breeds lavender instead of blue.

You know I was sleeping or half sleeping and thinking at the same time and I thought if someone wanted eggs we could pick those up too. I just think for myself I'd rather spend the extra and get chicks. I expect them to be around may, but you can check out the posting. I can't wait.

Everyone can afford 5 or 10 bucks for an orp. Get a black and blue and make splits. Plus whatever you get pullet or roo you can add it the your blood line of what you got now. Her birds are safer than the auctions.

Orps are nice friendly birds. Never heard anyone say my delaware or orpington roo is chasing the kids.

Don't get this opportunity often and with the price of gas......................

Take care and have a good day
