NY chicken lover!!!!

I think it really sounds like a party! We just need to pick a place and a date! We can all pretty much find Smallbany (sorry

) I've lived in some pretty large burbs and cities over the last several years so when everyone started talking again about how large Albany was I just kind of looked at them and called it Smallbany. This from a girl who grew up in NYS and had to literrally walk a mile to catch the school bus for several years growning up. Left for many years, came back and know lives on a road where the view at night is stupendous and the closes neighbor is probably a 100 yards away. I love the quiet.

Anyway, enough about me - let's all decide on a date and gitRdun! Why don't we add a chicken swap and mini mystery auction or something else to make it more fun? It could be ANYTHING Chicken oriented but we wouldn't know what it was (unless someone sticks a chicken in a box - hee hee) Or we can leave it simple and bring food, relax and maybe a few chickens for everyone to admire. I'm easy just whatever we decide sounds like super fun!

I think I have a family reunion that weekend in PA anyway so I'm pretty good anytime - everyone chime in with a date and if we have to we can always have two over the summer!

What about the end of the summer? That way we can grow out our chicks we hatch now and know what to trade.

Happyhensny? You might want to start another thread for this so posts asking you questions don't get lost in the other conversation. And get a Notebook to keep track of what everyone says they are bringing so there aren't too many paper plates and no forks and knives. (or worse all salads and no desserts

)
