I am sorry. I'm a PM hoarder...need a Platinum membership so I have unlimited PMs. If you feel like taking a drive, I'll email you directions. We are easy to find.

Kristen (Lovins) is near us at a conference, so my DH is meeting her to give her some ducklings. I have an ad on CL...but would love for these cutie patooties to go to a BYCer. Let me know what you decide soon.

No room for duckies! Bah, they are sooooo cute. They'll be close in age for the chicks too.

I have a pond. Well, it's not MY pond, per say, but it is less than 2 feet off my back property line. But it's not MINE...I can't put duckies on it. BTW, duckies get waterlogged if you leave them in water to long....at least those raised without a momma duck do. No oil until they are over 6 weeks old. You wouldn't beleive the number of towels I used drying my ducks so they wouldn't suffer hypothermia. HEY!!! I have ducks already, they just haven't flown back yet. PHEW!!! See, I told you I didn't need any ducks. (MAN, Do I WANT ducks tho)

Thanks for the heads up Muggs, but I think I prefer chicks not eggs. I have not hd good luck hatching shipped eggs.

I am in a blue funk today, had a fox attack yesterday and got 4 of my blr wyandottes. Then I found my new silver laced wyandotte hen sick yesterday, and of course, today dead.

So, Maybe its a sign I should stick to what I have....but am still goning for the lavenadar silkies...

Oh, and top it off, we disovered one our my best horses trying to colic so have been treating her all afternoon. I'm not sure she is out of the woods yet. So, needless tosay, I'm not a happy camper.

Hope your horse will be fine. I have a split lav and porcelain project silkie I'm not sure if I am keeping or breeding...the girl should be laying soon...she's almost 7 months for Pete's sake!

Sue, So sorry to hear about your horse. I hope she is feeling well soon. One of the scarier things that can happen to an equine.

I am also sad to hear about your wyandottes. Hope you feel better soon and hope you can get some Lavendar Silkies to cheer you up.

Hope to see you Thursday.

Happy Country Hens
