Does anyone in central NY have any turkey pouts for sale? only 2 off the 11 turkey eggs hatched correctly. (I didn't know I could have helped 2 as I am new to hatching) but all 6 of the chickens hatched...

Would like heritage breeds of turkeys but will take any that are younger than 2 months so they will get along with the others.

Or any animal auctions coming up locally?

THANKS!
Melanie

Hatching is addicting!! I have a hatch next week of more naked necks. Managed to rehome my four boy NN's and am trying to get a few girls this time. Plus there's two mutt eggs in there just because.

Still waiting to see how many ladies I have from my last hatch.

I should get a few buckeye eggs one of these days.

good luck Neighbor. I'm in Canaan. I have 2 broody Sumatra's sitting and due the end of the month. 3 broody Sumatra's have hatched 14 chicks so far this year. And I incubated and kept 30 plus Sumatra's. Hatching is quite addicting! I did reallize... I like nature to do the hatching!

Need help from anyone who has dealt with wryneck. I have a month old silkie who started with wryneck yesterday. Her poor head twists up and under her. I have started her on poly vi sol and have her isolated in her own box with a towel for comfort. I am getting vitamin e caps today as well as b vitamins and selenium. I have been handfeeding her eggs and yogurt. I plan on gettng some wheat germ to make into a mash. I have also been giving her drinks from a very small bowl. Is there anything else I need to do??? I have added rooster booster to the waterer in the brooder box for her siblings in hopes of keeping the others from also developing it. They are all on a good quality chick feed so this was unexpected.

Please, if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know. It is killing me to see her like this and I am hoping for the best.
