I have quite a few Blue Laced Red Wyandotte chicks between a few days old and 3 weeks old for sale.

Straight run at $8 each. I'm also selling all of my blrw flock. I am going into a couple of other breeds and so I need to make room. I have had a closed flock for 6 years and developed my line. Ihave not introduced any other breed or color to the flock. That is something others have done over the years trying to improve color & type. I've done that just by breeding with the birds I started with and improved that way.

I have 12 adult hens from 1-1.5 years old and 2 roosters. I will sell the hens, in groups of 2 consisting of a splash & a blue. Each hen is $30.

I would have to talk with my husband. How much are you asking for the pair sue?

Hi, I'm about 20 miles east of Syracuse and have a problem.. I need to re-home a few chickens.. my Gold Laced Polish has been pecked bald again.. I can't risk her health/life so need to find a new home for her with chickens of her own kind ASAP, right now she is all alone in an extra horse stall, but that can't last... anyone interested in a 13 wk old sweetheart??

I also have a 6 week old NN roo, I have too many roo's, this guy can't stay, but isn't as urgent since he is getting along just fine with everyone else.

will probably have another young Roo or two out of the other (3) 6 week olds, but not sure yet..

I would be willing to give any of these guys to a fellow byc'er versus selling them on craigslist.

thanks

Sandy

Thanks for the good wishes. One poked a hole though at about 11 AM but then not much activity. should i be worried? Another chick poked a hole through at 3 and another at 4:30. I think I should have gone to work!! I am watching it like TV

I just got done dealing with it. I gave poly vi sol (without iron) for a week....someone said 4 times a day a drop or 2 on the beak for 3 days, 3 times a day for 3 days and twice a day for a while longer. I just did it for a total of 10 days....I also put "Save a chick" in the water. I got that at TSC. Since I only had 3 chicks drinking from waterer one packet was all I needed for the 10 days. (I didn't mix it all up at one time, I split the packet in half and mixed 1/2 gallons instead of the gallon it is supposed to treat) I caught mine early and my little one was still able to eat on it's own, on it's knees do I didn't feed it anything extra. Vitamin B is water soluable so hard to overdose....body just excretes it....but I would be careful with the Vit E, it is fat soluable and the body can get too much of it and it can become toxic to human....so I would imagine it would do the same in other carbon based life forms...ie chicks. If she is peaking at the yougurt on her own you might want to mix in a small amount of her regular chick feed into the yougurt. It makes it easier to eat the yougurt and add the fiber from the chick feed to their system.
