You are fine...I don't have anything special and after my last hatch...I won't any chicks...

So...plz snow!!!!

Oh, I see....using reverse psychology on the weather.....ok. Let it snow so I can crawl up on the roof and shovel it right after shoveling paths to everything and cleaning up the long, long driveway. Oh, and then I can drive the truck with no heat on a long trip too.

Let's see if it works.

Snow. My driveway is about 200 ft long or so, my MIL lives next door & I love her dearly but she dosent know the business end of a shovel, she has a rental house next door to her. My DH works for our highway dept. So when there is snow he is gone, sometimes for days. Leaving my wonderful kids and I on snow removal. I plow or use the tractor with the snowthrower for the 3 pt., kids shovel all the sidewalks and the roof of our little rental house. After we are done we have hot cocoa and play board games, too tired for anything else. So, in all, snow gives us a great workout, but too much is a royal pain in the tushie.

Odey, what a great little crew!

Rancher, I have a similar Silkie roo. I keep looking for the off switch.

We call him Gorbachev because he has a nasty purple comb in the middle of his forehead. I guess I can't complain too much. We hatched three little fluff balls in the last two days thanks to him!

Okay! I like the snow too! However, I don't want it to snow EVERYDAY like last year. I hate rainy winters...never decreases the bugs and slop everywhere. Could it get to about 20* with some sunshine!! Love it!!!

I'm starting a petition to Mother Nature... Snow Dec 24, 55 degrees Dec 26. That's it. No other time.

I hate snow. I hate cold. I hate people who sing the chorus to that darn song that says "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow"

When I was younger I would go out without a coat, not turn the heat on in the car. Fast forward to "now"

Wood stove cranked up to 85+* in the living room, undershirt, shirt, sweatshirt/sweater & coat + heat on high in the car, pj's, socks, hat and loads of blankets in bed.

Yeah well I used to walk around the house in my red long johns til one of the buttons popped of the flap in the back. Now DW says put on a bathrobe or else, she's gonna poke me with a dead silky on a stick.

You know silkies make great cat toys,,,, til they stop moving. Of course you can always hatch more "cat toys".

Don't make me come over there!

I nearly went to AL for the winter. The money I spent on these new chicks I could have afforded to go. Now I have to deal with these chicks. I'm suffering buyers remorse.

If it does snow I hope it's only over your house.

Rancher , I hate snow , Hicks

I don't really want chicks either but, I suppose I could help you out with those lil' ones. Can't have you all stressed out. That's what friends are for.

I haven't even told DW what I paid for them. She'd hit the roof. Not to mention two of them died. They're the SFH's and the Birchen marans.

I have the same deal going with my DH, he dosen't ask and I don't volunteer info. I am trying to get a Tragopan. Quite reasonably priced but since I am out of egg money...

Hope it goes through, they are sooooooo cool!
