NY chicken owners... please help me!

I am in desperate need of someone to buy my cockerels. We simply ended up with too many. I live in a semi small neighborhood, and I do not want to take the risk of my neighbors complaining and having the town take all my chickens away! I am located in Poughkeepsie NY, and I have about 10 bantam salmon faverolle cockerels that I need to sell. They are SO CUTE AND FRIENDLY and I love them, but they need to go. $4or$5.

Good looking bird! Is he upsetting the neighbours, as you feared, or keeping them onside? He could help keep down the local bug population to earn his keep...

They are getting louder and louder by the day, so i fear its only a matter of time before the sheriff comes knocking... I've been desperately posting on facebook left and right

I'm afraid a lot of people who raise birds from chicks find themselves where you are now. Some manage to rehome them, some eat their surplus cockerels, and some end up binning them, which is a real shame. I do hope you find an acceptable solution.

I get you're probably trying to make back some money, but a lot of people don't buy cockrels. No point since so many are for free all the time

great news everyone! went to a poultry swap and found people to take all the roosters i had!
