I have buffs but my last hatch is next week and won’t be putting anymore eggs in til spring.

Ok, well that’s only one week off from when mine hatch, so that’d be fine. How many do you think you’ll have? Also, what lines are your buffs from?

I don’t know how many will hatch, if any in this batch. Mine are my own breeding now but started with Magnolia silkies and Snoco silkies.

I am not familiar with genetics and colouring - so the chicks will be partridge even though the parents are various colours? Do they breed true?

I see I need to do more homework on Partridge genetics lol. I am still interested

Yeah they will continue to breed partridge in various colors but if your looking for show quality color right off the bat then I would say don’t buy mine.
