That's how I think too! What's fresh and on hand! My collard greens are looking good so far in my garden. I think something ate my bean seeds.

I was going have water and a 5gal igloo of something (lemonade?).
I was thinking that it would be a good idea for people to bring their own beverage that way everyone is happy with what they bring. I'll try to have coolers with ice to put them in.

I have seen this idea somewhere!

I think that is the most manageable option with so many varied tastes!!

Yup... Last year a couple of people coming long distance brought a couple cases of water instead of a dish to share. I'll throw in my spigot cooler too....maybe a canister of ice tea to mix in. I'm still thinking about my vacation in 24 days....When I get back I'll concentrate on things for the gathering. (I REALLY need a vacation)

Would anybody be interested in buckeye eggs. I can collect for a week and donate them to the chinese auction. How about some kefir grains to make your own kefir?
