Thanks guys! Had a great time. It is so much more calm to go to an event when you do not have to host

The Rome Humane Society was happy for the animal chow and litter donation I made this morning. My girlies have a little more in their savings and I have some set aside for the fingerlakes feather club. Thank You everyone!

Oh and next year I'm bringing a Bingo game. We play it at thanksgiving with friends and have a great time since it's easy and everyone can play.

Blueberry Buckle

For the cake:

1/2 stick of butter, softened
3/4 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 cup of milk
2 cups of flour
2 tsp. of baking powder
1/2 tsp. of salt ( if I use salted butter I omit this! )
2 cups of berries

I start with the ingredients and just add it on in down the list! Any kind of fruit will do! Peaches are fantastic!!!!

For the topping:

1/2 stick of butter, softened
1/2 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of flour
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
2 tbs. of brown sugar

Fork it together until it forms pea size crumbles and put over cake batter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan
