Hmmm...warmer in Ohio today. 40F here this morning

But since it's cold down there that likely means we will be even colder than there in a day or 2.

Saw on the news a major blizzard gonna hit the midwest. I type this as a sweat after morning chores today. We are so not having our normal winter temps of 70's and some 60's. Thinking the kids will be swimming on Christmas day this year.

My mom was swimming at 75F in Florida on Christmas day last year & it was 65F here in Ohio. This year she's coming home for Christmas. Watch, we'll have snow!!!

I still find this amazing after living here in Florida for over 11 years. Born and raised in the Western NY area, I was used to waking up on Christmas morning with 3 feet of snow on the ground and below freezing temps.

My husbands Grandparents HATE snow, so moved south. First to Florida, now they're in South Carolina (as a happy medium). Everytime they come home in the winter it snows, so that's our running family joke." Ask Grandma & Grandpa to come home, we need some snow".

its deffinetly a different take on Christmas. We will turn the pool heater on this weekend to make sure the water is nice and warm for the kids. They will open presents, have breakfast and swim until dinner.

Hi Blarney, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Holiday Concerts for the kiddies are finally over, so now I might be able to finally finish up shopping, LOL! Maybe then I'll be able to breathe, oh yeah, and after I find that ONE pair of shoes that my daughter absolutely must have.
