And as I am on the east coast… that is the sun rise.

My best friend moved to California directly after graduating high school, (we all swore we would but she was the only one brave enough to actually do it). Anyway, first day there…they stayed up all night and drove to the beach to see the sunrise. Didn't work out so well for them.

At that time in our lives, it was something we did often, stay up all night, drive to beach and watch sunrise. hmmm young and unburdened we were.

Let me preface this by saying, I can hardly walk up the hill on my property….

There is a 5K on January 1st at the beach. I am THINKING about trying to do it. Worst case scenario, I walk the whole thing. I have NEVER done a 5K before. but, as it is on the boardwalk, it is all level.

Shall I do it? I think they keep paramedics close by.
