ANYONE try to save an CRACKED EGG???? RESULTS??? (NOTES: Next time at least TRY the candle wax/crayon wax or finger nail polish and see if it works on hairline cracked eggs, Got it!)
I've used unscented candle wax on chicken eggs with good results. I covered up a crack a HOLE in a Coturnix quail egg with Elmer's glue. Needs a few coats, but overall works pretty good, egg is still developing just fine, seems to be holding the humidity in pretty well, judging by the air sac. Hopefully the little guy will hatch. :fl POST. :)
I use white unscented tea light candle wax. Works very well!! :)

Are you picking on me? I can't SEE..... fingernail polish is nasty stuff...... and the shell is broken so it can get in the shell and to the chick.... embalming fluid.....
