I fill the jars with ater and let them sit overnight. I am using some Aida (cross-stitch) cloth over the top, then screw the ring on. I drain them and let them sit in a bowl withthe lid side angled down so they will drain. Once a day, I fill the jar with water and drain them again. It takes about 4 days from seed to the sprouts in my pictures... Then I take them out and feed them to my girls. They can't really forage here through all the snow, so I'm hoping if I keep giving them the sprouts through the winter, it will make up for lack of grass... I usually have 2 batches going at a time, so they get them about every other day. I'm going to try BOSS next! And then you do what with it?
