O for 3! I want eggs I can use!!

Hi and welcome
when I have an over load of eggs,
I hard boiled them cool and crush
and feed them back to the hens.
shell and all. they love it.
high in protien and calcium.

the egg shells are a great way to recycle the calcium in the eggs.... I NEVER throw away shells.. even if I dont give it to the chickens I give it to the quail. and I dont bake the sheels I just let them air dry until I have a huge bowl full. then I give them to them crushed up. I dont give them whole cause that might make them thing of eggs. and I dont want them eatting eggs!

I would make sure those pullets have plenty ofcalcium... I have not had any of my pullets that laid soft shells
