oatmeal for breakfast

with this morning being a little chilly out I figured I'd share some of my oatmeal(plain) with the girls--they LOVED it!

I'm going to have to try this as it gets colder. My girls have only ever had it raw before...

I make mine with an egg and the shell crushed up along with the powdery part of the crumbles they don't eat. It always goes fast.

I ran out of chick starter yesterday and gave my 4-week-old chicks raw oatmeal this morning. You'd think I took them to Smorgy Bobs.
Don't worry, they'll be back on their complete diet tomorrow.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-we don't say "boy"-- they are 9 weeks old this week and I am hoping if I keep calling 'him" a girl, he won't know the difference and he'll just keep thinking "he's" a girl--don't tell "him" he's a he and not a she. LOL!!!!!
