Oats / Oatmeal

I know I read it on here previously, but now I can't find the post.

What kind of oats from the feed mill is the same or about the same as oatmeal?

I'm planning for cold nights and wanting to grind a bit up for my babies.

I give my hens rolled oats as a treat, mixed with BOSS. Because I have horses I always have oats on hand.
