Obligatory Hello

(1) I am researching homes in order to have a small flock of hens 6-7 birds. But...they need to be goth as my name suggests.

(2) I have zero currently.

(3) I don't have any, but I am interested in Swedish black hens, Black Austrolorp, and Black Americuanas (sp?)

(4) How I want to turn my backyard into a self sustainable, eco-friendly space.

(5) I also am an avid gamer, and with ADHD I just go through hobbies like water.

(6) Husband is in the airforce, we currently have a dog and two cats. I have an Animal Science pre veterinary degree and currently working at a horse stable. Pretty boring.

(7) Bonus: Found through google, and trying to research Bellevue's dumb ordinances.

Welcome to BYC. If you go through hobbies like water, you might do better with something nonbreathing. Well kept chickens have a tendency to stick around for several years and they require daily care. Its not a cheap hobby either and the initial investment to get a brooder set up and a well built coop & run can be expensive. If you have your heart set on zombie chickens you may also need an incubator because eggs will probably easier to obtain. Of course that means finding homes for the roosters. You can find and buy ayam cemani pullets at Meyers hatchery but they are going to be expensive too.
