~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

A hush gradually fell over the tavern as they noticed the two, replaced by clapping and exited cheers. Neo grinned as he watched her flash through the candle light, what was left of her face paint sparking, and wondered. The music was different from back home, and faster, but she seemed to keep up with it so easily. With their feet racing over the floor, and all eyes on them, it just felt perfect.
And indeed it was. The perfect time for a someone to sneek in, flipping his hood up to hide his horns. The perfect opportunity to slide on to a bar stool and slip the bartender a sackful of coins, "I've been here all evening." he said.
The bartender raised a brow and peered in the sack, and in one quick motion slid it under the counter. "As you say." He whispered.
Meanwhile, everyone had started stomping to the beat, and the couple had taken to the air.
Neo made swift dodge and swirl as the music lulled towards the ending notes, striking a pose as it fell suit. The chandelier now at their feet, he grabbed one of the chains and reached out a hand to Xyla.

Xyla continued dancing until the pair took to the air, the hooded figure not falling under her usually hawklike eye. When the final note echoed into silence, she faced Neo with a giddy yet meek smile, eager and anxious at once to see what he had thought of her dancing. Personally, she had been impressed with his, and her occasional smile of acknowledgement while they had been dancing only highlighted that. She took his hand gently, holding his gaze silently as the two hovered over the chandelier, the slight drops of perspiration glimmering on her face as they faced each other. Not knowing what Neo would say, she simply hovered in place. Having danced her nervousness out for the time being, she was comfortable with so many eyes on them once again.
