Penny laid there shocked, monster.silent tears ran down her cheeks. Terrified, she held her tail tighter while her body shook uncontrollably..

Sassy hugged Penny telling her that everything was going to be okay. "We need to look for shelter! Its not safe here!" With that being said Sassy picked up Penny and started looking. After a hour or so she found a big tree. She decided that it looked safe enough to camp here for a night. She sat Penny down and starting knocking down all the spider webs and stomped all the spiders. Finally she got a fire started and laid down and took a little nap. She kept on waking up in fear that the big mysterious bird would be right in front of her. Then she decided to stay up for the rest of the night to keep a eye out for any strangers or predators.

Smiling Monica said "had a feeling you would wake up..as t some food?" A small fire was now burning two large fish just about done.." it is tempting but I wouldn't advise taking a dip.." Monica lifted a smallish blue colored snake..her claws dug into the dead snake.. letting g blood trickle down her arm..

"We could make a little shelter right here! So in the morning we wont be far from the stream!" Molly started looking for very larger leafs and sticks to build a shelter.

meredith whipped her bow in front of her, yanking an arrow from its quiver. she aimed, holding steady on the largest bird she had ever seen. ''good ears." she whispered to dawn. "now what?"

Dawn nodded, her blue eyes locked upon the large black bird soared over them, and doubled back, picking up speed. "Lets ride." She snarled, and bunched her legs ready to jump.

Dawn uttered a fierce howl, and just as the bird was about to swoop, she lunged into the the air, and slashed her dagger at it's belly. The bird screeched angrily, jerked upward, turned, and came back for another shot. "Your turn." Dawn winked at Meredith.

meredith smiled, she pulled the arrow back, her bow taught, she traced the bird in the air, leading it. she waited for her shot and loosed the arrow. the arrow flew true and lodge in the wing joint. in the blink of an eye she strung another arrow, loosing it. the second arrow embedded in the wing joint of the oposite wing. the bird sqwaked, its mighty wings struggling to flap. "fall." she whispered. the bird plummeted to the ground.

Dawn slapped her hand on Meredith's back in a happy gesture. "Awesome hits! Lets go see what the heck this thing is..." She walked gingerly towards the creature, it's eyes blinking up at her.

"Well, I guess, but what is it??" Dawn asked, crouching far enough away so if the creature attacked, she could get away.
