oblong egg

My EE has been laying normal shaped eggs for a couple of months, the last 2 she has laid are very oblong. She has also started hitting her beak on the ground. Is this normal behavior?

Some hens seem to lay pointy eggs. Is she wiping her beak on the ground?

Yes she is wiping it back and forth. not pecking though as in eating just turns her head to the side and hits her beak on ground.

She’s smoothing it. All chickens do this. Think of it at filing your nails.
You have a very healthy hen.

What are you feeding them?

If it is too much carbohydrates, sunflower seeds and fatty mealworms, she might get too fat which often leads to this oblong egg shapes.
